• Former grower-owner with Yakima Chief Hops; frequent host for brewer selection & harvest visits.

• Washington Hop Commission: 20+ years of service, including

multiple terms as Chairperson.

• Past President, Hop Research Council; service on Certified Rootstock Committee and US Hop Plant Protection Committee.

• Recipient of the First Degree of the International Order of the Hop (2011).
